Steps to try before reporting an issue:
[li]Clear & refresh the site in your browser cache: Press Ctrl-F5 (or Cmd-F5 on Mac) when viewing Counterwallet, then log in again[/li]
[li]Counterwallet should work with the newer versions of Firefox, Opera, Chrome and IE 9+. If you are having issues, try it with Google Chrome.[/li]
When reporting an issue, please include:
[li]A description of the issue itself[/li]
[li]What you were doing to cause the issue[/li]
[li]A link to a screenshot of the issue, if it will help debugging the situation[/li]
[li]The information in the table that is displayed when you click the Gear icon in the upper right, and then click the "Show Debugging Info" button (either a screenshot or the text itself is fine)[/li]
[li]Or, instead of that last item, get a screenshot or text dump of the recent dev console output showing the error and giving line number info (see below). That is the most helpful option. [/li]
Tech savvy? Use the dev console to give better error reports:

[li]During this testing period, you can get a lot of neat information of what Counterwallet is doing by using the Javascript developer console. When errors occur, useful exception information is printed to this console, which includes error line numbers in the code which can help make fixing issues easier[/li]
[li]If using Chrome: Simply press F12, and then click on the Console tab.[/li]
[li]If using Firefox: Download the Firebug plugin from this link. Then, press F12 to display it, and click on the Console tab[/li]

I changed a address in my counterwallet from “My Address #1” to “My Test Address #1”. When I logged out and then back in it reverted back to “My Address #1”. It is correct in other places like history though. It also has (WATCH ONLY) beside it, but I don’t think that’s a bug. It’s nothing big. Just making a note of it.

Odd… I just tested that on Firefox by making a new wallet, logging in, changing my address name for address one (updated fine)…logging out, and then logging in again…the address was still the updated name. Can you clear your cache, reopen your browser and try again?

Also, check if you’re getting any javascript errors (you can download the Firefox plugin and use that, or use Chrome and press 12 to get the developer console, and switch to the “Console” tab)

Thanks. I was using chrome and it’s fine on firefox. I should of checked first on multiple browsers first.

Ok thanks. It should work fine on Chrome though…so if it’s broken on Chrome for you, I definitely want to know about it. (chrome version it’s broken on, if you’re able to reproduce the bug, etc :slight_smile:

I will post bug on Github, so that it is easier to track.  (Let me know if you prefer to post the bugs in this thread instead).
( I apologize, looks like I post two of these on github).

Issue Description:
I can’t create new wallet in firefox, works fine in chorme. Is anyone else seeing this issue.

Firefox : 27
Steps to reproduce
1. Navigate to:
https://testnet.counterwallet.co/#
in Firefox
2. Click on “Create Wallet” button
3. Nothing happens.

This works fine in chrome. Issue only occurs in firefox. I tested issue on two different machiens, just to make sure there is no popup blocker.

The key line there is “SyntaxError: missing ) after condition knockout.js:2745”

That is an odd one…the browser had an issue parsing the knockout.js file…which is a core dependency of the wallet. Unless others report the same thing, I’d say something is off with that browser (probably a plugin that is causing problems)… you could try clearing your cache and grabbing the site again, but it will probably generate that same parse error.

Thanks, I probably filed a duplicate bug on github. You can delete one.

minor issue:

when creating a new wallet, it would be better to Highlight the twelve words more - oversaw them the first times

second:

when chosing buy/sell the adress does not always Pop up/ I often cannot choose the address

anyway Overall Impression is great. Keep up the great work

Trying to prime an address, I put in 20 for the number of additional primes to make and it gave me this.

failoverAPI: Call failed (failed over across all servers). Method: transmit; Last error: JSON-RPC Error:Type: Server error
Code: -32000
Message: {‘message’: ‘TX rejected’, ‘code’: -22}

When one is tabbed away (in the browser) from the wallet and comes back the main screen sometimes goes blank - and requires clicking to a different tab (of the wallet) and back to get it to appear.

<bug #2>
Balances from the address not being deducted in a timely manner.

<bug #3 >
from address not selectable

<bug #4>
history not showing pending

My balance is showing about 3x the amount of BTC I recieved, XCP is showing correctly.

I went to the DEX and tried to buy about 3x the amount of actual test coins I had (balance now shows 5x) and got this error

failoverAPI: Call failed (failed over across all servers). Method: transmit; Last error: JSON-RPC Error:Type: Server error

Just logged in.
I am impressed with the wallet. There are a number of small usability tweaks and bug fixes that need to be done, but that will come in due time.

Report:

I’ve purchased 100 YUMMYSPAM from the DEX. It shows on my Balances and Assets page.

However, I can’t see it in history and I can’t see it in the portfolio view.

Should it be updated in these views?

Edit: I had the wrong filter in history. However, it isn’t visible in the portfolio view. Is this because there may not be any open orders on the market to price my holding of YUMMYSPAM?

Report:

I have sent BTC between 1 address to the other. The source address did not debit the amount sent and has credited both the source address and destination address.

Chat box can write empty messages :slight_smile:

Buy/sell orders last button cant see what there read "confirm and place order" its only white, dark theme.

Are there coming option if you click that pending order/notifications/open orders/ you get page where see more details about that?

Is that possible make here option when you write your BTC amount that offer x amount of ASSET to buy with last price?
