There is a primary address on my account that says Address #1, which I used to receive XCP from my Bittrex account. How do I go about creating an address to use to receive Bitcoin? Can I just create a new address and then send Bitcoin to that address? Are the Bitcoin and XCP wallets interchangeable?
You can send Bitcoins to your Address #1 or create a new address in your wallet. In both cases the Bitcoins are send to your counterwallet.
Thanks for the reply! Is it ok to reuse the same address? I was under the impression that it was unsafe to reuse the same address? If it is ok to reuse an address, what is the max number of times for using the same address?
Unlimited. Reuse of address is OK but then everyone in the blockchain can see who traded with this one address.
