There’s a very active bitcoin community in Tel Aviv, many are excited with the new possibilities of the protocol and impressed with the achievements of the CounterParty devs. I guess we should also thank the MasterCoin and ColoredCoins guys who opened the door and made quite a good job explaining the ideas in meetups and conferences here, so when CP arrived and just did it faster and better it made an impact.
