Yeah that happens due to bitcoin blockchain reorganization (when Counterparty has to re-scan new blockchain blocks and during that time this error can appear if the rescan takes a a bit longer). The developers are working on devising a better way to scan new blocks but in the meantime a workaround is to retry a bit later like you did.
iāam canāt login, its password true, pharse link true, always loading
@Arifin Please try to open the wallet in Incogito mode. If youāre using Chrome go to Tools->New Incognito Window and try again. If the page is loading it is most likely a plugin/extension issue.
Alternatively try to clear your browser cache or use a different browser.
iam login mozilla, is chace cokies recent history is all remove, but i retry login still loading is not login in my counter wallet, is i can try new account login its no problem, so how solution i can login is my account
failoverAPI: Call failed (failed over across all servers). Method: create_support_case; Last error: JSON-RPC Error: Type: Server errorCode: -32000
So you can create a new wallet and login fine, but when you try to login to your old wallet you get this error?
Perhaps this issue is related to https://github.com/CounterpartyXCP/counterwallet/issues/705. Do you remember your last actions when you were logged in that old wallet?
Also, can you please open the Developer console and paste the text here or take the screenshot, maybe thereās some info there that can help developers identify the issue.
is screen shoot here http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=k9gl1c&s=8 , http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=k9gl1c&s=8#.VSzXZ1P7J48
I was referring to a screenshot of the Javascript console.
You can open the Browser Console in one of two ways:
- from the menu: select āBrowser Consoleā from the Web Developer submenu in the Firefox Menu (or Tools menu if you display the menu bar or are on OS X)
- from the keyboard: press Ctrl+Shift+J (or Cmd+Shift+J on a Mac).
Hereās an example of the console screenshot.
Not sure if thatās going to be of any help, but maybe thereās an error there that can help identify the issue.
Hi,
sorry if I post in the wrong place but I didnāt find how to create a new Topic.
Iām having issue with swipping assets from an old XCP address to a counterwallet one. It looks like counterwallet is doing a transaction from the old address to itself and then Iām stuck waiting for the confirmation to be able to try again.
Who should I get in touch with to get this sorted out please ?
regards,
@ntm, thatās a known (occasional) issue that hasnāt been fixed yet.
What has been found to work:
- Sweep (let it complete or time out by itself)
- Without logging out, try to sweep again
In most cases it works the second time if it fails the first time around.
Hi. I cannot log in to my counterwallet account. The progress bar stays forever. Anybody else? Tried both from Chrome and Firefoxā¦
@Claudio_Parrinello one other user reported this today (see the post above). Can you take a look and see if thereās an error displayed in the javascript console?
Hereās what I see in the console:

I dont know if this will help you, but a discussion similar is already going on about sweeping issues Only 20 addresses show up in my counterparty wallet
Just to confirm before I forward this to the dev. When you open Counterwallet in incognito mode and try to create a new wallet, it opens fine. But when you try to open your old wallet (in incognito) the page loads and the wallet wonāt open?
Yes, thatās right. The extra info I can provide is that there was an action pending the last time I opened it. I was creating a token, The action had been pending for two hours.
Thanks Claudio. I will forward this to the dev now.
That appears in all normally functioning wallets so we can exclude that.
Itās probably related to the particular wallet, what @ivana mentioned.
