We are thrilled to announce the β launch of our new blockchain solution HAZAMA!
We founded IndieSquare to solve blockchain issues and use it to make the world a better place by developing new technology that helps to solve society’s issues (especially limited personal economic activities). We believed that we should focus on new blockchain technology because it is necessary to enhance existing blockchains and develop sidechain technology to solve the shortcomings.
Nobody wants to pay high learning costs, high operating costs, and high transaction fees per blockchain. By using HAZAMA, you can solve them and enhance their functions while maintaining the stability and security of the public chain. e.g. HAZAMA can provide a programmable smart contract environment, such as Ethereum, for the bitcoin blockchain whilst realizing the fast verification times of a private chain.
The Features
Bidirectional pegs to multi-blockchain
HAZAMA aims to connect with many blockchains and achieve interoperability. At the moment, you can connect to Bitcoin (and counterparty), Ethereum (and ERC20). And currently we are working on Monacoin (and monaparty). We will support more blockchains in the future.
Lua-based smart contracts
You can execute smart contracts using Lua, a simple language specification. For example, it brings interesting use cases to Bitcoin, such as periodic automatic payments.・Open Source
HAZAMA will be open source under the BSL (Business Source License) 1.1 license soon. We all verify it and believe that brushing up this technology to make it more convenient and practical will benefit the blockchain industry.
HAZAMA DNS
Your own domain (eg, you.hazama) replaces obscure address formats (1aBcdeF…). You can manage multiple crypto assets pegged by HAZAMA in one domain. In the future, it will also be possible to invoke truly distributed web. (We are still implementing it, but we are pre-selling the domain!) https://hazamadomains.com
Blockchain technology called the “Internet of Value” will be one of the very important core technologies in the future. Data reliability can be achieved at a very low cost, and individuals will be able to deliver superior data content around the world.
It is our mission to make the blockchain technology easy accessible to all people. https://hazama.io
What is the reasoning behind offering a private solution to these issues, instead of working with the community on the project directly?
We love counterparty and we provided mobile wallet and APIs etc to expand its ecosystem for the past 6 years.
There were three major issues in period of that.
Transaction fees rises due to bitcoin popularity.
Fees have risen from a few dollars to tens of dollars, and many transactions was not been approved for a long time. This is a very big problem in actual operation.
It is difficult for beginners to understand (Sending a token requires BTC).
Many wallet users have asked this question. "Why can’t I send a tokens?”, "How do I get BTC?” It is a complicated step for beginners.
Inability to comply with regulations.
Counterparty tokens can be traded at any time with DEX, for example, it is negative likely to be considered securities and illegal in Japan.
Therefore, we a solution with consortium-type algorithms that is high customizability and fast was required. It does not replace counterparty, but complements its weaknesses. We respect counterparty and community and believe that we can feedback each other.
In addition, HAZAMA will be possible to peg with tokens on other blockchains (e.g. counterparty, erc20, monaparty). how wonderful these ecosystems would be if they connect each other!
Hi, thanks for comment!
Now we are working on some new features (peg-in out, Issuances, smart contract manager) at hazama.io. I will announce it as soon as it implemented! hopefully it will comes soon!
I just spent some time reading through your web site and Japanese press release.
This looks potentially revolutionary!!!
Once your project is linked to the indiesquare wallet, will it support XCP and counterparty based tokens?
(As is the plan for monacoin and monaparty tokens)?

yes we are planning to support counterparty (xcp, cp tokens), monaparty (mona, mona tokens), ethereum (eth, erc20) on hazama first!
