I recently created a sell order, yet it still says “pending” after 20 minutes, There is no sign of it in the market or in my open orders, is this normal ? and how long do orders usually take to be listed?

It’s pending until there’s enough confirmations for it on the blockchain. You can paste your address into blockchain.info (or blockscan.com) and see if the transaction has 3 or more confirmations.
