I like the security of CP, I am not impressed with the speed. Would a “local” server node help to speed transactions and if so, who has done this before and what was the procedure and hardware requirements?
Counterparty works at the speed of Bitcoin. Just like Bitcoin is slower then some other altcoins, it also has the massive amount of computational security.
Counterparty is the same. It will get faster as third parties begin to build applications to make it faster, just like Bitcoin has things like coinbase
