For a statistic report

I did an experiment selling XCP for BTC / XBTC for the past few days

of all 81 XCP/BTC pair matches, only 16 are successfully BTCPayed which is about 20%

Thanks for posting this, I can imagine a script could summarize this data on an ongoing basis. I'm counting 25 completed in that image. Are some of those "Completed" repeated or for another type of transaction?

Interesting statistics. Thanks for compiling them! I'm assuming that selling for XBTC worked 100% since there is no BTCpay component.

well, the difference is XBTC which is of course always complete

OK, that was subtle. How can we make the BTCpays have higher success rates?

I hear dev is busy with automatic escrow btc, not sure how that works, but it sounds like a centralized trick.

I don't think Counterparty would progress towards centralization. It goes against the basic ideology of the project. However, there are improvements being made to make selling BTC on the protocol more comfortable. Because Bitcoins cannot be reliably escrowed, XCP and asset trading will always be faster and easier
