It would be interesting to also phase out the “mnemonic.js” based seeds in favor of BIP39 (as default) and in that same step use a more modern derivation path as per BIP43/44.
However, care must be taken to support old style addresses.
EDIT: Also, usage of SLIP-0044 as a de-facto standard for counterparty (and other coins) addresses should be interesting to adapt.
