How to I transfer BTC to XCP?

New to this.

I could rapidly work out how to fund BTC. It took hours, which should be mentioned somewhere obvious.

But I haven’t worked out how to buy XCP with the BTC.

How do I split my account between BTC and XCP?

I would use this centralized exchange to get XCP (BTC is not allowed on the dex at this point) https://www.poloniex.com/exchange#btc_xcp
