does counterparty running or  tracking  bitcoin increase bitcoins valuation - not importance but an inidividual bitcoins valuation?


If counterparty can be made to also work on any altcoin and some does it does THAT increase or decrease that altcoins value?


Is it important for the longevity of counterparty to have a fixed maximum numberof  the tracked basecoins  coins (ie a fixed max number of bitcoins)  or is it more important that more people continue to mine the tracked base coin?
