Bio
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and moved to Huntington Beach, California a little over 10 years ago. I have worked as a full time software developer for the past 15+ years and have a passion for software development. I am happily married to my wife Kimberley, and I have a 7-month old son and 2 labrador retrievers.
I became interested in Bitcoin in early 2013 and have been fascinated by the technology and the cryptocurrency space ever since. I stumbled upon Counterparty in late 2014 and was amazed at the features that are included in the platform. Ever since my introduction to Counterparty I and have been accumulating XCP, registering unique assets, and introducing new users to Counterparty whenever possible.
In late 2014 I decided to start up a company with the mission of making the Counterparty platform easier to understand and use for new users. CoinDaddy.io launched in March 2015 and offers the following services :
- Asset Registration Service (no XCP needed)
- Asset Enhancement Service
- Broadcast Enhancement Service
- Asset Transfer/Escrow Service
- Asset Vending Machine Service
In addition to the above paid services, I have been a big supporter of Counterparty and run a number of Counterparty related services which are hosted at no cost to the community including:
- Public blockchain viewer and APIs (counterpartychain.io)
- Public counterwallet server (counterwallet.coindaddy.io)
- Public development servers (counterparty/counterblock)
- Public whois service (whois.coindaddy.io)
I am a big believer in Counterparty and believe it has a bright future ahead and I plan on continuing to build services for Counterparty regardless of if I am elected to a position or not. If I am elected to one of the community director positions my primary areas of focus will be :
- Improve communication between CP developers and community
- Marketing strategy to attract more developers to platform
- More documentation and side-by-side comparisons of platform features
Also, it should be worth noting that I am not at all interested in the price of XCP or in driving it up. I am long on XCP and believe that the short-term price of XCP is irrelevant and not something that a community director should focus on.
Thank you for considering me.
