# Newbie ? about XCP cap, creation, &amp; securing the network

Where can I get the info about how XCPs are created?&nbsp; Who they are given to when created?&nbsp; The total cap of XCPs?&nbsp; How XCP transactions are secured?&nbsp;   
  
Sorry if this is obvious… but I couldn’t find the answer on any of the Wiki’s.
