# Need help with XCP asset integration with my website

Cointrack.net is a website I had made for users who need a convenient location to&nbsp;keep track of their various digital currencies stored in a variety of forms. I would really like to add XCP assets using the blockscan.com address api, but I have no idea how to do this. If you would like to help me in providing this free service to the XCP community, please reply!

Adding XCP assets is not possible using the [blockscan.com](http://blockscan.com) API, as far as I know.

  

You’ll need to install/run counterparty, and use that API itself. See&nbsp;[http://counterparty.io/docs/counterpartyd/](http://counterparty.io/docs/counterpartyd/) for the API docs

@CoinTrack Are you talking about tracking, i.e. providing balances and values, or actually creating assets? The [blockscan.com](http://blockscan.com) API makes it pretty simple to do the former but doesn’t support the latter. The Address API section at [http://blockscan.com/api](http://blockscan.com/api) is probably mainly what you and your coder need.
