# How to change fees in counterwallet

Hi all, I am new to these forums, but not new to counterwallet.
I was wondering how to change the fees in counterwallet, because in settings I see this:

do I just lower that percentage?

You can lower it but your orders will not match with other orders, unless their fees are that low too. And it’s not a very good idea to lower them, because it promotes spam orders on the dex.

ok, but does it affect the trancation fees?
