# Error encountering while going through federatednode

I am going through the steps which is listed in "[https://counterparty.io/docs/federated\_node/](https://counterparty.io/docs/federated_node/) " document

I am encountering at the command : fednode tail bitcoin

The following error is coming:

It appears that your bitcoin instance was syncing the blockchain and about 46% done when bitcoin exited… Perhaps you ran out of disk space or stopped fednode?

Try restarting your bitcoin instance and let it finish syncing

`fednode restart bitcoin`
