Is anyone else interested in getting the party started here? My hope is for these forums to take off in a big way. ---

I’m in the process of (re)installing bitcoin-qt and counterpartyd. As soon as it is running, I’ll test the DEX with small amounts. Maybe another noob from here could do the same and with could make a noob guide on how to use the Distributed exchange. ---

I am not so sure DEX is easy enough for newbs. I’d like to propose an alternative: Install Cryptocat addon - [https://crypto.cat](https://crypto.cat) Join room 'counterparty’ Escrow deals can go through [https://www.bitrated.com/u](https://www.bitrated.com/u) with mutually chosen arbitrators. I think this is the best way for new people to buy since it only requires a Web browser to use. ---
I am looking to buy but I guess I will try the exchange first.  Unless there is a better idea
At what price do you want to buy ? We can make a small sell on the DEX (I don’t want to sell too much) so you can learn on how to use it. Mail me or PM if you want to try it !
